Busy Day

Logical is doing sooo well with his swimming lessons. His teacher has the patience of a saint and finally got him to put his eyes in the water. He swims all funny because he does everything in his power to keep his face and ears out of the water. Rather than force him to do it "her" way his teacher is working with his goofyness.
Then we had our WIC recertification. Logical is 42lbs and just under 42inches tall. Trouble is 35lbs and 36inches tall.
Then we met Daddy for lunch.
Then we went to Logical's neuropsychologist appointment.
Then we went home and the boys played in the yard till suppertime. I'm sure there will be some heavy sleepers in our house tonight.

More Gymnastics for Trouble

Trouble is now going to gymnastics two days a week. They had an opening, so I thought we could even out the running around a little bit. All of this starts the first week of April. AND... Grammy is going to be here, so, a good time will be had by all.

More Things to Do!

OK, here's what a typical week is going to look like for us: Logical goes to school 2 days a week, swimming lessons 2 days a week, karate 2 days a week, and sees his neuropsychologist once a week. Poor ol' Trouble only has gymnastics once a week. There isn't a whole lot of structured stuff for 2-year-olds. I bet the price of gas for the SUV after we start cavorting around is going to bite us on the butt.

Insert bad word here

Well, poop. Logical has made too much progress going to pre-school two days a week, so he's not eligible for four days a week. I'm still mad about it. I mean, I understand the school's point-of-view, but sheesh. If he's done this well, imagine what four days could do. And to top it off, he's got and ear infection. If it doesn't rain...

Assembling the Weapons for Battle

Well, I go to Logical's IEP meeting this afternoon to push for 4-day-a-week preschool. Speech Eval? Check! OT Eval? Check! Neuropsychologist recommendation? Check! Letter from previous teacher? Check! No-nonsense attitude? Check!
